The White Earth, Leech Lake and Red Lake Reservations are the three largest Ojibwe reservations in Minnesota with a combined enrolled membership of over 40,000.

White Earth Reservation is located in Becker, Clearwater, and Mahnomen counties in north-central Minnesota.

The Leech Lake Reservation is located in north central Minnesota in the counties of Beltrami, Cass, Hubbard, and Itasca. The tribal headquarters is in Cass Lake, Minnesota.

The Red Lake Reservation is located in northern Minnesota almost totally within Beltrami County with a small portion in Clearwater County.
